This week, we are featuring Mr. Hardman who is using interactive notebooks as a way to take focused notes in his classroom. He got the idea and the start from Mr. Epley. He believes the organization that these notebooks provide is beneficial to his students. They take time quite often to go back through old notes to make sure they are focusing on the 24-10-7 model! This allows his students to retain the information and use prior knowledge in future lessons. One example he shared was they are about to go into a unit on civilizations and they look through prior foldables to see different facts about civilizations. Take a look at some example pages below:
